Why
We already work here.
Vashon is home to thousands of professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, small businesses, nonprofit leaders, and remote workers.
Our working lives are already here — but our workplace infrastructure hasn't caught up.
Convenient.
But distracting and isolating.
Welcoming.
But busy, public, and not built for calls or meetings.
An essential resource.
But limited in hours, privacy, and professional amenities.
Everything you need.
A ferry away.
A third place is the neutral ground between home and work — where neighbors gather, status levels out, and isolation lifts. Vashon already has third places for art, food, and making. It doesn't have one for work.
The island already shows up for shared infrastructure — the MakerSpace and the Tool Library prove it. Work is the missing piece.
